200-Hour RYT Training

This training for for those who are interested in teaching yoga or to deepen their understanding of their own practice. Each studio is a Registered Yoga Alliance School. I facilitate part of each program along with my colleagues to ensure the students receive a full spectrum of education.

Yin Yoga Teacher Immersions

This training is for those interested in deepening their Yin Yoga practice — geared towards both yoga students and teachers. The registrants must have a deep interest in Yin Yoga and have at least two years of yoga and/or mediation practice. Successful completion of the Program fulfills all the Continuing Education Requirements (CERs) that must be completed every three years by Registered Yoga Teachers to maintain their certified status in with Yoga Alliance.

  • Yin Yoga Principles & Philosophy
  • Physiology & Anatomy
  • Yin Yoga & Energy (chi, prana, meridians)
  • Practicum Flows
  • Class planning, sequencing and hands on teaching experience
  • Yin Yoga & Special Conditions

Yin Yoga Poses will be studied with focus on anatomical variations.  The course will include a comprehensive overview of essential Yin Yoga postures and the variations, plus the  use of props & assisting, sequencing and how the postures are related to the Chinese meridians energetically.  Training will address how to adapt to special populations with pre-existing conditions such as low back disorders and sciatica, as well as the many therapeutic and mindfulness applications of the practice.
