This training is for those interested in deepening their Yin Yoga practice — geared towards both yoga students and teachers. Successful completion of the Program fulfills all the Continuing Education Requirements (CERs) that must be completed every three years by Registered Yoga Teachers to maintain their certified status in with Yoga Alliance.
During this training you will learn how to teach Yin Yoga from a functional approach rather than an aesthetic or performance-related approach to yoga, with the aim of creating a meaningful experience for yourself and your students, to explore a personal yoga. You will study Yin Yoga with an approach to promote awareness of what is happening in the whole person through the body. The training is aimed at those who want a deeper understanding of Yin Yoga. For those who are YA Certified, you will receive Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Credits.
While there are no pre-requisites for this course, it is recommended that you have practiced yoga for a minimum of a year. This course is for those who want to deepen their own practice and understanding of themselves and for those who want to teach Yin Yoga (with or without the 200 RYT certification).
